Ray Hayes (Chair)

Mr. Hayes has served as deputy minister in a number of Yukon government departments, and more recently was Trustee for Dawson City.

Paul Birckel

Mr. Birckel was Chief of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations for 17 years in the 1980s and 90s. He went on to become President of Dakwakada Development Corporation and was the First Nations Liaison Coordinator for the Yukon government. He also worked for the Executive Director of the Council for Yukon Indians for six years.

Kevin Brewer

Mr. Brewer is a registered professional geoscientist with over 25 years of experience in project management, development, environmental issues and government relations. He holds a degree of Honours Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business and Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Judy Gingell

Ms Gingell is a former Yukon Commissioner and former head of the Council of Yukon First Nations. She's also been President and CEO of the Kwanlin Development Corporation and was President of the Yukon Indian Development Corporation.

Pat Irvin

Mr. Irvin has been a Yukoner for more than 30 years and has lived and worked as a businessman in Watson Lake that entire time. He currently owns a grocery store in the community.

Luke Johnson

Mr. Johnson is a member of the Kluane First Nation and lives in Whitehorse with his wife and two children. He worked for the First Nation for a number of years but now runs his own business. He does consulting work in the winter and operates a wilderness tourism company in the summer months.

Erik Nyland

Mr. Nyland is a Professional Engineer who has resided in Yukon for the past 28 years and is currently the Vice President of the Association of Professional Engineers of Yukon and the President of Consulting Engineers of Yukon.

John Wierda

Mr. Wierda and his spouse Diane have called Dawson City home for about 40 of the last 44 years. He has worked as a banker, accountant, and in the field of community economic development. He has volunteered for many organizations and is currently an active board member for a number of First Nation owned and operated business entities in the territory.
